From January 2006, Motorola and Kodak have announced that they would collaborate on an “alliance intended to fulfill the promise of mobile imaging for consumers.” Two and a half years later, Motorola and Kodak announced the MOTOZINE ZN5 which has perhaps the most advanced camera images around any phone.

Sometimes you can find out if the manufacturer has no faith in their own product, LG and KT610 is an excellent example of that. Although it was announced in February this year the World Congress mobile, LG’s efforts to promote KT610 were almost non-existent. A handful of half-press releases, a lack of decent photos and specifications and a refusal to answer For more information shows that maybe LG is expected that the KT610 to sink without trace.

Nokia announced the new 3G mobile phones 6600. There are two versions, the bend and slide. 6600 times has a 2.13-inch OLED display, a 2-megapixel camera with 8x zoom, a secondary camera, integrated music player and 15 MB of internal memory.

Verizon will launch on 15 June the 6205 Flip clamshell mobile phone.  6205 Flip features a 2-inch display, a 1.28-inch 128 x 128 secondary LCD display. It support audio playback, and has Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. It is priced at $119 with contract.

Here is a leaked shot of the forthcoming Nokia N85 smartphone. Not much information about the phone is available now, but the N85 slider would probably come with a 5 Megapixel camera, GPS navigation and a large screen.

Nokia announced its 5320 XpressMusic candy-bar style music phone. The Nokia 5320 supports 3G/HSDPA networks and works with also Quad-band GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.

5320 XpressMusic has a 2-inch LCD display with 320×240 resolution, a 2 Megapixel camera with LED flash, integrated media player, FM Tuner, Bluetooth and 140MB internal memory. The phone supports also microSD card for expansion.

To be shipped in Q3, the phone will be priced at about 220 Euro.

In addition to the 5320, there is another new member in the XpressMusic series, the 5220. 5220 XpressMusic is also a candy-bar. Unlike 5320, 5220 is a 2G phone with support for GSM/EDGE 850/1800/1900 or GSM/EDGE 900/1800/1900.

The music oriented 5220 comes with a 2-inch QVGA LCD screen, 2 Megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, integrated music player, FM Radio, Bluetooth, 30MB internal memory and a microSD card supporting up to 2GB cards.

The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The integrated media player supports MP3, M4A, eAAC+, AAC and WMA and also MPEG-4 videos.

The name Nokia 5000 certainly sounds special - perhaps five thousand indicates something really hi-tech or whizzy? Perhaps Nokia have reserved it for something fashionable and gorgeous?

Research in Motion has officially abandon its new smartphone today, the BlackBerry 9000 bold, a big upgrade to their BlackBerry devices.

The Bold has a HVGA (480 x 320 pixels) display resolution, the same found in the Apple iPhone, which will probably improve the usability of many of BlackBerry applications. And to answer your next question, no, this is not the touchscreen.
